Last few years in High School and Intermediate School I was really short, this year though I seemed to have grown 6" or more so I am not really short anymore at all but normal. The name is a classic though so it has to stay

When my hobby was fishing, my kids bought me a little sign that said 'Gone Fishin'. Now that I fly, I want a sign that lets people know where I am. Unfortunately, I spend a lot more time on the computer than I do flying.[:@]
It is a good thread though. I am glad so many people have added theirs.
<hat's off to all the Vets....THANKS!!! >

Since I'm normally in the cube dungeon programming or playing with the ole dotted quads, I wanted a screen name that matched my job. That small part in the rear of the lifting surface that keeps things in check [8D]... and it sounded better than aileron

I was a Green Beret sniper in 'Nam and got tired of the handle I had on the old RCO so mine is just short for Green Beret.

I've had to share a number of computers.
I just added a Z to my name (Patrick) so my folder would be at the bottom of the tree and easy to find.

ifixairplanes came from my career choice. I am an airframe and powerplant mechanic and I work at Pease intl. trade port. I just can't seem to get enough of the damn things....work on them all day at work, come home and work on them all night. I think its an obsession.

I have been doing chatrooms/forums on the internet for years. As time went on, finding a name that wasn't all ready taken got harder and harder.
Being an Artist (Both Computer Graphics and Performing Arts), and because I now reside in Minnesota, I eventually started using "MinnArtist".
When I logged on to RCU, I changed it to "MinnFlyer"

I think mine is pretty obvious. JS are my initials, and 3 because my dad is JR and my grandfather is SR.
In college it used to be JJSIII but I've shortened it to JS3.
It's not very imaginative, I know.
