Pictures of new runway at Mt. Moriah R/C Airport
We broke ground and started work on the runway and road bed at the new Mt. Moriah R/C club and airport. All of the dirt work on the runway is done and is now ready for the finish work and planting of grass. The weather was too nice to pass up so I took off and got a few shots of the work. I also got some video and I will post it after I get a chance to edit it. For more information on Mt. Moriah R/C club and airport in Obion, TN follow the link below. Actually the runway is NS and the pits are on the East side. The prevailing breeze is NS. Also to the west there is nothing but farms and open land for miles.
