I could post a link to what's been written but to transfer page be page I think wouldn't work. More of a new start. I thought you summed it up very well for anyone viewing the BOB's topic.

excuse my EXTREME IGNORANCE :
without the WRITTEN HISTORY of our group,
why:
"EXACTLY" ... is this thread with 14K posts being abandoned ?
( be patient; at 73 come April; my train thoughts become a bit fuzzy )

Rick,
Your heads okay, you're just getting tired. Lordy knows, how many times I was in error.

Rick does have a very good point, over 14,000 post and we are bailing out, because of some time outs and some moderators looking at the language. Hmmm, language, I'll pursure that issue, I see fowl language on many post here at RCU. I guess, it's the sissy boys that don't like the language. Get a grip BOYS.
Rick, you're still a puppy, my dad is 90 years old and doing VERY well. Grandma, was 96, when she passed away. It's the old German and Hungarian in us.

Vic,
I can't agree with you on the moderators being nice and letting us go over 10,000 post. Check this one out. You know I'm the digger. Replies are over 22,000, so that's out of the equation. Don't know why they nailed the Struggling thread, computer maintenace is an easy task.
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/foru...smode_1/tt.htm
Back to basics here guys, we can still stay here and converse and help others, when we can, as Vic mentioned (I forgot alot about the Blade stuff too) AND start another tread on RCGroups. Let's do both.

Rick...it's about impossible to transfer this entire thread, or we'd probibily do it. We are not abandoning it, we are moving to a place that has less restrictions on subject matter posts ''on topic'' if you will. We're NEVER on topic anymore. Add the problems encountered with the website, etc. As for me....I barely remember the CP or CP Pro's and how to troubleshoot them. This thread was actually finished when none of us flew E-Flite Blade series helicopters any longer. We're packing up our friendships, and whatever helicopters in our inventory, and moving to a new more friendly atmosphere. Not that the moderators haven't been decient because by the rules, this thread should have been shut down a long time ago, so the moderators have been exceptional. We are just doing the right thing by freeing up the bandwith at RCU.

I like the new thread I think there should atleast be a link posted to our Wheee.... thread.
I think like Vic I barley even remember the Blade Cp's and we can always refer back to this thread for info.

this deal of branching off into a "private" / separate thread has been done before.
Years ago the BADIUS RC glider initiated a thread which was a lot like ours here.
Eventually problems rose and now they exist as the BADIUS OWNERS thread.
Even the ARROWNAUGHTIC is a member. However, they have set up a whole, complete
regular site :
http://badiusownersclub.com/forum2/i...alName;start=0
and I really don't think that the SPIRIT that was created in the original location, and over
a long time :
TRANSFERS WELL, [ or at all ]
once the ONE ITEM that ties them together is diluted, then everybody grows and expands in a different direction
in their case it was the BADIUS GLIDER ( $ 40.00 for the whole system, or something like that)
In our case : the CP and then the T-REX , and the 450 s held us together. From that point on, each went their own
way and on to RC airplanes, bigger helis, etc etc.
Yes, we are friends now, but I think that the subject that held together (the glue) has vaporized.
I think that is what happened over at the BADIUS club.
INVESTIGATE !

I've registered with RCgroups, I've suscribed to the thread, and I like the FORMAT a whole lot better. It's easier to work with, and seems straight forward.......I'm outta here.....[X(]

Vic,
I'm registered too at RCgroups, so I'll tippy-toe over there too. However, I'll still check in here at RCU on occasions, and see WHATZZZZ-UP! (LMAO!)
I have resisted the urge to curse, flame, degrade, insult or embarrass someone in My post. An old saying, "It's Nice to be Nice", so, srew you.

Did ya smile?
Haven't done crap all day, rainy, cold, damp, windy. It's hell being retired and bored to death. Sept. or Oct. back to work, I WILL enjoy this summer though.

Hey All,
As Dave mentioned it runs faster between pages. I can't think of one glitch that I've had over there. It is a much different format for sure and it takes some getting use to.
Another thing about RCGroups is that there is much more electric chat. I've always thought that RCU was for glow/gas and RCGroups was for electric.
Blessings,
Jay

OK...Lights out....dogs are good, door is locked. But I'm confused a little...are you talking about this thread or the State of Michigan?[X(] They could move everyone out of this state, blow up the bridge to the UP and run a fence along the whole lower half....turn it into a prison (like escape from NYC?)...we're on our way anyway.

I'll hit him up with a link.

I got a replay from Horizon Hobbies about the E-flite batteries for the MCX and MSR.
Andrew at HH hobby said the battery could last 20 flights or 100 flights and there is not a set life expectancy. I do not care if the ones on eBay give you a minute less flying time I will never buy another E-flite battery!!!!!!!!! I wish I had saved the email, as it was not very professional. I have bought 7 E-flite helicopters and many spares in the past 2 ½ months and I sure as heck will not buy another.

I did like one of the fine members here recommended and called Horizon Hobby about my battery problem and SR swash plate problem. I am happy to say they are sending me 2 batteries and when they get the swash palate in stock will be sending me one of those as well. I am sorry to say they are not going to replace the main blades that all so got messed up do to the swash plate separating.
Another question I was told by Scott the representative at HH I talked to say that E-flite and Align are the same company. Is this true?
