Dave - that's the one! I got the Arabian Knights table for free. I'm sure the game is rigged as I got 20-30 million the first few times I played & almost NEVER went out the side exits or straight down the middle. Now I'm lucky to score 2 or 3 million points! Glad the Nexus is working out for you. (I had hoped my wife would dominate the Kindle & I could go buy the Nexus for me but she shows almost zero interest in it!)

Great on the gnd school! Good luck! And your welcome! (using my tax dollars!)
The graphics on this app are awesome. Every month, they do a free table. There's rumors about a quad core Nexus 10, so if that comes out, maybe the original will drop enough for you to pick up. I've been downloading a crap ton of games.
Thanks for the tax dollars. Passed (86%) the section I exam of ground school. If you ever have questions about planks, we've covered the aerodynamics section on planes.

Glad you watched the vid before doing anything else.

Ivan-
Glad you back to flying again... I think I remember how to fly...

Larry-
Do what works for ya. I'm sure there are advantages to either mode (Rate, HH), so use the one that best fits your mode of flying.

phD-
Why do you need to paint the nose, I can't see anything wrong in the picture.

Back to the books/tablet...

Nice work on everything Dave
The aerodynamics bit and the color comment. It only proves that men are crazy. All the the women sid it need mainkng uniform and all the men said leave it just so.. and i said i am not glutton for punishment/work. thanks too Sir Scotty..

Only thing it is back out of the fuselageThe tail gear case had a problem so the new one the teil rotor assembly is not at 90 degrees to the heli, the boom has to be rotated and to do that it has to be removed out of the fuse. I love fuselages LOL

Filli - fly it 1st then worry about the paint job - given the history! LOL

Dave - were are they giving a table a month away (Google App store)? Gnd school for flying - what's wrong with that picture??

Ivan - really good to see you again! I had a good time & thanks for the advice & checks!

Ivan let me fly the nano & I tried a couple of flips & one roll! 3 out 4 failures & one almost! It's so d@mn hard to see it more than 2 feet away!

I did another break through - I had the 300X nose in a couple of times for a few seconds - no blinking or breathing was performed during the maneuver though!

Well, cha!
Glad you quieted the buzzzzzz....

Chuck-
Not really giving a table away a month (on Google App store), but every month one table is featured for unlimited play. This month it's Medieval Madness.
[link=https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zenstudios.ZenPinball&feature=related_apps]Zen Pinball HD[/link] is another good one.

Ground school for flying? Think of it as a weed-out class. I wouldn't want just any yahoo w/ money flying over my house.
Congrats on the almost flip, and nose-in! Next step: breath and blink.

Stage II exam on Wednesday: Weather, Weather services and Federal Aviation Regulations, oh joy! [&:]

Dave - I might try one or the other (breathe/blink) but not both at once! Didn't make it to the dome this week, hopefully next week. Amazon will let me try a new table until I get a high score. I may try that. Sounds a bit like when I took boating classes - good deal on the progress. Take me up for a quick tour of the western sky when you're qualified???

Phil - No paint was harmed during the making of the hover... Excellent! Grainy my foot - no vid it DID NOT happen! lol

We'll see... got 86% on the second test. To lock in my groundschool test score (they are only good for 2 years, unless you get a private pilots cert), I can take yet another test to become a cert. ground instructor. That doesn't expire (and doesn't require a medical), and, in the future, if I decide to go for a private pilots cert, the ground school will be taken care of.

Chuck-
Ok, blink OR breath... baby steps...
Yep, similar to boating class. Sure, love to take you up in a 1:1 scale when I can.

phD-
still not following on why you paint job would be ruined.
Love to see the Hughes hovering!

I was reading more about the ArduPilot Mega [APM] (for my FBL, whenever that will be). Scott, as you mentioned with the other FBL controller, the APM has a Geofencing support. You can specify an enclosed polygon with a max/min height, and if the vehicle crosses the boundary, it's switched to GUIDED mode, and fly back to a pre-defined return point. I'm definitely excited about this! Gotta love something that will keep you from crashing.

Good to see you Sir ivan
Dem quads are crazy machines.

Yea Sir Dave
Fixing some 550 blades to replace the 500 blades to see if i can get rid of some resonance that is causing the fuse tailto vibrate between where i have supported it.I have dropped the throttlepercent a little. i don't seem to get it in Normal mode around 80-85%. So I drop the idle up from 100 to 85%. I'm reaving the paint job as is LOL

Yes Sir Chucky
I did many times, but I don't wanna go there because I don't know when it will stop..well it would already be flybarless, then auto pilot then FPV. i'll test soon within 50 hours from now.

Reminds me of the way my Seadoo works. You don't have steering unless you are on the throttle. I bet it will be way cooler in the swamp.

Phil - that was NOT a white sand beach under the airboat, BTW! LOL

I know EXACTLY what's causing the vibration on your heli! It's the sound waves from the bass in your truck speakers! Made my windows rattle over here!

Well, done! No paint was damaged during that flight. Looked pretty stable. A little rocking up & down (I forgot what Ivan told me causes that!)

I just love the way those big birds sound - scary COOL!

Strewth Chucky
I weally weally thought it was white sand. I gotta look at the vid. I no hear the truck speakers. Seems I need the bispectuals for my ears. For me the rocking up and down is some expo needed on the elevator. Head speed increased the sensitivity. I am gonna put on the 550 blades and see if everything pans out..resonance and sensitivity. A better exposured vid to follow
