Question Frequency Problem

Hello everyone. Before i start I just wan't to say that i'm new to this Website, so may not know about many things in RC in just a guy with a RC Hobby.
So.. Yesterday I got my RC 4WD 757NQD Drift Car and I was really happy until l mentioned something .... Before i bought the car i saw that the frequency can change on 27MHz or 40MHz.... But there is a problem... Where do i switch it??? Or do i have to buy something to do that? I don't know and not sure about that. So i please for your help guys!! I really wanna drive on 40MHz but don't know where is the switch (Or is it even a switch.. maybe something else idk) and i couldn't find it anywhere.... By the way here is the Model of the car:

(It's a Polish Website but when you scroll a little you have the "Specifications" Table so have a look at that. THANKS!

BIG Thanks for any HELP!!!!

RCU is primarily about aircraft so I don't have any knowledge of Drift Cars or RC cars in general.

First question, why do you want to switch it? I presume it defaults to one or the other. What is the default? Is it not working on the default frequency?

All I can offer is, when all else fails, read the instructions as that would be my only path. The instructions don't seem to be online.

Why do you want to drive on 40 mhz as opposed to 27 MHz? I presume it defaults to 27 MHz. Is there a problem on 27 MHz?

Why do you want to drive on 40 mhz as opposed to 27 MHz? In the USA the valid frequencies for cars would be 27 MHz, 49 MHz, 75 MHz and 2.4 GHz. 40 MHz would not be legal in the USA.

Look, The thing is that my friend is buying a 27MHz car and i want to have a 40MHz so cars won't go crazy when driving together (I dont live in USA BY THE WAY!! But in Europe). I also dont have the instructions in the product... They just didn't send them..... They weren't included. It is working 100% but on the site it said it can be 27MHz OR 40MHz sooo... you see.. I realllly wanna race with other car that have 40MHz. If you know someone who knows how to change it please let me know!

You might try contacting the manufacturer.

Since you are concerned, I presume you are sure it is on 27 MHz. Do you know which 27 MHz channel it is using?

In the USA 27 MHz has six distinct channels. Like 40 MHz, as long as you and your friend are on different 27 MHz channels you will be fine. And if you are on 27 MHz you will have no problem driving with people who are using 40 MHz. In fact there would be zero chance of having a channel conflict with the 40 MHz drivers.

Some of my airplanes are on 27 MHz. Never had a problem. And I have flown with other pilots on 27 MHz, 72 MHz and 2.4 GHZ without issue.

Car forums are your best bet for useful information on that specific product.

Sometimes the choice is at the time of order. They ship you one radio or the other.

Well they didn't tell me that... I think youre Right! They probably ment that i can buy on 27 or 40MHz..... Why do i always have to buy before im 100% sure what im doing.... Anyway Today ill test the Frequency between my new RC drift car and the old one. They both are 27 but maybe the one i got recently is a little different (I hope).

I'd think you would have to specify the frequency when you order this. There are different channels in either frequency band, so you can run several cars at the same time on the same freq band, you just need to be on different channels.
Most Toy grade models have fixed channels, on more advanced systems you can easily change the crystal in tx and rx.

My 27 MHz planes were marked on the box as to what channel they were on. They are either marked Channel 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. Sometimes they mark them Channel A, B, C and so on. Usually they can not be changed.

Most of the 27 MHz planes and cars would be in the "toy" class. Those on 40, 72 would be "hobby class" systems and are usually higher priced. I have seen 2.4 GHz toy and hobby grade products. Range can be short or it can be full range.

In most cases the radios packaged with these RTFs, especially on 27 and 49 Mhz are not intended to be used with anything but that car/plane/boat.
