Default Programming a JETI ESC with the Program card

Hello guys,

i got a new Advance 12 Plus + program card, and im trying to program it. i set all the jumpers, connected the ESC on one side and then connected a 4 cell Nimh pack (4.8V) on the other side (the manual calls for a 4-6V source) and im waiting for the beep im supposed to hear but nothing happens !!

any idea what am i doing wrong ? battery polarity is correct and battery is charged, but no beeps.
thanks.

Did you turn on the switch for the ESC? No beep unless you power up the system.

There is no switch in this ESC, just a battery plug in, which i thought i shouldnt do, since im using a 4.8V source for the program card, no ?

Unless it is an Opto ESC, you don't use the receiver battery but rather plug a flight pack into the main power wires.

Be sure that the motor is connected to the ESC to hear the beep. It happens about 1 second (or less) after connecting battery power.

Only use the 4-cell receiver battery connections on the upper left part of the card with OPTO-isolated Jeti Advance PLUS ESCs.

Good luck!
