Hi,
I would appreciate some views on the correct carbon prop to use with this model. I will be using a Q80 11S and I am thinking about a carbon prop to go with it. However at carbon prop prices I do not want to make the wrong choice.
thanks
Tom

Optional, how.? Are they already cut out and hinged? If you don't want them do they stay in a fixed neutral position or do they attach to the main ailerons and move with them? Thanks. Since I'm flying intermediate, they won't help me.
Thanks.
Thanks.

No they are add in the build process. These planes are built to order they take around 3 to 4 weeks. Unless you are buying from f3a unlimited there planes are built with only a single aliaron. This is a solid plane and the best value in the market. For the lower clases because it is strong and can take the mistakes made at that level.

I have looked at every thing and how complete it is. And its quality is right there with oxia. Just awesome.
I will be post weights and pics of the build today and tomorrow. Thank so much Algis
I am very happy with the craftsmanship. I have it all together and will be making test flight the weekend. The weight of
my plan is 10.7 lbs. this is the set I am using.

According to one of the on-line converters, 10.7 LB equates to 4853 gram so looks nicely under the 5kg. Add 45grams for a Q80 instead of the Pletty and still under 5Kg.
cheers
Tom

Hi Matt.. If I get one, I'd most likely order it from F3AUnlimited... so I guess the split ailerons are a non-issue, which is fine. I don't think I want them. I also see you are team JETI... I fly with a DS-16, and would want to use a speed controller with the integrated telemetry from JETI. Which one are you using in this model?

I am sorry for the delay back to you . I use a mezon lite and it works great. Use a 450 millamp Lipo with the bcu. And you will not have to worry about if it will drive your servos I used all hv Jr servos with no issues.

Matt, no problem with delay.. Thanks for the info. I went with the Pletty advance motor, JETI Mezon 95 Opto, JR hv servos, 900 mAh receiver 2s Lipo battery. Not sure what you mean by bcu here. I'm unfamiliar with that one.

The mezon has a battery control unit (bcu) are better yet it will provide power from your flight packs so a small receiver pack like a 400 mil can be used and you will only have to charge it every once and awhile
