Hi,
Does anybody know where I can buy this model? There's no one at Lindinger and I didn't found the dealers list on the manufacturer website.

Holy Smokin' Good Deal Batman!
I can't believe you can get a painted 2M ARF WITH a battery set and a Pletty for less than $2000 US. That is awesome!
I hope to see one next year for sure! Now if they could just knock off a couple 100g in production, they would be my hero!

If someone twisted my arm really hard and made me a ridiculous offer
I'd consider selling mine, ready to fly, even though I really liked it and
had great success this past season.

We are bringing in a very limited number of Sickles in the new red color scheme. The new version has sheeted and covered built up wings. 2 are remaining at $1499 (intro price) + shipping from VA to you. Factory quoted weight is 2300g for the airframe. As soon as they arrive (next week), I will weigh and post the weights. Following shipments will be at $1599 + shipping unless we can get our inbound shipping cost down.

Guys this plane is a very good flier. With the weight issues behind them they will be very capable. It rolls beautifully and is very stable in the air. Certain planes fit my liking and this plane is one of them. It also presents well in the air. This newcolor scheme is a lot better than the White, yellow, and blue one that I owned. That plane would blend in with the sky pretty badly.
Also Chris will be selling this ARF at a very attractive price. I highly recommend this plane, well built very complete and easy to complete. I had a Pletty Evo 30 in mine but it would also make weight with an AXI F3A. It liked to fly fast so gear your motor choices that way. It won't like some of the smaller motor choices available like the smaller AXI. The perfect prop seemed to be the 20x15.

Mike,
I like mine so much I got a second one on the way from Chris.
I agree about some planes suiting one better than others.
Mine really suits me!
Especially the slow rolls!

Looking forward to seeing all the gang this weekend!
Later!

Looks like I got the second one. Hope mine is the light one.

So Mike I might need to rethink the Himax motor choice?
I would get something with more power. The Himax is a great motor but lacks the grunt I need for a competitive Masters flight. They are releasing a larger more powerful motor soon. It will be like the AXI F3A which I think is the best bang for the buck Outrunner on the market today. Mike

Pair that with a Castle HV80 Ice and you'll be impressed. That controller is verycapable and it's inexpensive.
The real key to the AXI F3Ais the Lipo's. The AXI is capable of pulling so many AMPs that the early Lipo's couldn't handle it. The new F3AUnlimited and the higher C Rhino's can now keep up with the demand the motor requires.
The AXI is a motor thats been on the market for around 6 years. It had some initial problems with the design and magnets getting loose and pretty much got a bad name during the initial process. Since they have corrected these issues and in fact the motor I recently replaced in my Integral had over 550 flights without any issues or maintenance. It was still running great but I started the season with the Himax thinking it would be just like the Pletty which by the way is a great motor albiet 2 times the cost. About 3 contests in I decided I was missing the power I needed and put a new AXI in. Wow!!!! Now I'm sure its a horse.
In my opinion the AXI is being overlooked because of some of the early problems they had. Motors are pretty refined and your not going to see revoulutionary improvements in them like we were used to seeing in the YS design evoulution. 6 year old motor designs are still capable of delivering what you require in the envelope we need to perform in. You'll find that the motor at 80AMPs WOT will require a dialing down on your throttle end limits on the Transmitter. I think my ATX SD10Gis about at 70% WOT. Mike

Ok Mike thanks for the info.
I fly Advance so the battery demands are less than what you need in Masters I assume.
If you don't mind I'll use you as a guide on this build to keep me from making the same mistakes you and others did.
What batteries do you recommend other than the ones from Chris? I'll be getting some from him for comps but would like to use some cheaper packs to learn the process with and get "Used" to this electric stuff. If I kill them I'd rather they be cheap.
I've only breathed Nitro for 30 years now.
I see the fuse we're getting does not have the same plates in it as the one you first had. I fly JR servos and intend to stick with them.
I'm sure I'll have 1,000+ questions when I start the build.
Such as which lipo/reg set up to use for the flight pack. I'm still using nicads
