Joe,

Zippy Flightmax 5S 30C 5000mah are advertized as 650g, 740g is the shipping weight;

Spec.
Capacity: 5000mAh
Voltage: 5S1P / 5 Cell / 18.5v
Discharge: 30C Constant / 40C Burst
Weight: 650g (including wire, plug & shrink wrap)
Dimensions: 145x48x40mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: 4mm Bullet-Connector

So far I have found the battery weights advertised on HK to be quite accurate for 5-6 different types of battery packs I have (had) so far.

Hey Joe,

Great to see you this Saturday. How was the Fun-Fly? By the way your plane is "kick butt", and I love how well it flew with a 17x12 [X(]

Here are a few picks from a previous post. Just interesting to see what one can do with a little cutting and pasting in terms of shaving grams

While I'm at it let me post some battery weights:

1) TP Prolite V2 5300 mAh 1170g
2) True RC 10C/20C 5000 mAh 1174g
3) Power Unlimited 20C 5000 mAh 1183g
4) Zippy Rhino 20C 4900 mAh 1233 g
5) TP ProLite V2 4350 1027g

Hey remember when . . .

I have three sets of Zippy 15C/5000. One set weighs 1155 grams and the other two weigh 1165 grams including deans.

Only ten cycles on these sets, but they are great so far.

I tried the Hobbypartz 5S 5000 20C packs. Mine weighed 618 grams. After 5 cycles the Cell resistance is ~1.9 to 2.4 milliohms.

My Turnigy 5s 5000mah 20C weighed at 666 grams. The two power wires can be cut short a little bit to save a couple grams.
