RE: Sebart Wind 110
You don't need the 3D stab for prophanging, mine hangs just fine without it.
For the picture fans who just finished drooling.. the WindS is mine, the Miss Wind (.50) a friends.. http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/9538/img0036gnm.jpg http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/46/img0032rln.jpg http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/2474/img0031sfp.jpg |

The similarities really bug me. I know it's just a trim scheme, but it's hard to spend $600 on a plane that looks just like the one I have:

huison2005,
Thaks for the pics. What fuse is that in one of your pics that your Wind is sitting next to? Great comparrison to the difference in size of the Wind fuse to a full 2m fuse..... Also amazing as the design of the two are almost identical except for size.... |

If you're comparing a Venus to the Wind 110 they're not even close, especially in the way they fly. tommy s |

RE: Sebart Wind 110
Huison and me went on a shopping spree ... we now need to sell blood ... heheheehee
gaRCfield ... they are far from similar in looks and I am pretty sure the Wind S will win hands down against the Venue. :) |

ORIGINAL: hezik ORIGINAL: gaRCfield The similarities really bug me. I know it's just a trim scheme, but it's hard to spend $600 on a plane that looks just like the one I have: It's just some of the trim lines are similar. As I look at the photos in this thread I see that the planes are more different than I thought at first. Thanks for posting all the pics, especially next to the Integral! Not really THAT much smaller. If you guys keep posting pics I might buy one of these planes sooner than later, so keep 'em coming! Always hard to judge from mfgr's website. |
RE: Sebart Wind 110
gaRCfield ... just tell yourself its good to spur the economy, get a new plane. :) Come join the club too. Hehehehehee ...

RE: Sebart Wind 110
Hey Guys,
How much is the Miss Wind going for and when is it going to be available on their website, anyone know? |
RE: Sebart Wind 110
The Miss Wind (the .50 size biplane) is on their website in the pricelist.
http://www.sebart.it/download/sebart-pricelist.pdf The airframe is EUR 329, which is roughly 471 US dollar. The combodeal with Hacker A50-16s/Masterbasic 70/2xAPC 16x12E is EUR 569, which is roughly 814.75 US dollar. The Miss Wind (the 140 size biplane) is an Oxai product, which costs about 3600 US dollar (!) |
RE: Sebart Wind 110
Hotrod ... getting the Wind S and Ms Wind? :)
|
RE: Sebart Wind 110
How's the covering? Wrinkles?
|
RE: Sebart Wind 110
tIANci,
No, just the Wind. I have a friend that was expressing interest in a biplane this weekend, so I sent him the link of the pics posted here today. I know that he will be coming back to me wanting to know what it costs. So thanks to Hezik I can now tell him. I had gone to their web site and didn't find it listed, but I wasn't looking in the price list, just the page that shows their aircraft. Thanks again......... |
RE: Sebart Wind 110
gaRCfield ... I have now owned 3 Sebarts and molested like another 3 others (LHS owner is nice to me) and I can tell you there is literally no wrinkles. I love their build quality, its funny another top brand that comes out of the same factory as Sebart is not the same. Maybe its just the design so it feels different.
hotrod ... the Wind S is lovely, there is no need to own both. I got both because was just curious to know how they both fly (lousy excuse for coveting huh?). I am going to start the build on the Wind S tomorrow. I think it will only take no more than 3 hours to get the plane ready. The Angel S took only 4 hours max to build (sans installation). |

|
RE: Sebart Wind 110
Okay guys, it has been two days and no one has posted anything to this Forum. Something is going on, everybody can't be on vacation.....lol I have heard that silence is golden, but this is ridiculous........lol

RE: Sebart Wind 110
hotrod ... me been busy with my Ms Wind, she is almost ready and will maiden her on Sat morning. I will start on the Wind S on Monday, the box is sitting in my living room. Unfortunately, HUISON and me are short of the motor. It will come in about 2 weeks time. :(

RE: Sebart Wind 110
tIANci,
Yeah, I have been busy too, been on the road for a couple of days and then will be out of town all weekend, so no time for RC this weekend. Have to take Moma and the grandson to San Antonio. But I am looking forward to the trip.;) What servos are you guys using in the stabs? Which option are you using, mounting them in the stab or using the fuse option? I have a pair of Futaba s9650 mini digital servos, I was thinking of using them if they will fit int he stab without mods. Would like to hear what others that already have their plane are using. Thanks, and everyone have a great weekend.... |
RE: Sebart Wind 110
I'm using 9650's on both the elevators and the ailerons. You have to do some sanding to get them into the stabs, but it'll fit.
