They don't appear to be. They move things thru the whole travel. If I get decent at flyin the VNR3D, I'll get a good heli radio. I have a Futaba T6XAs, but I don't think it will do Heli's. I'll check the manual out tonite. Im surprized we didn't get a seperate manual for the VNR3D radio. The supplied manual tells very little about it. Dennis

RE: Night Ranger 3D Gallery
This is how i have it set right now and it helps the bindin.the tubing is big enough to have the servo go as far as it needs to go before making it bind and u have to set your swash plate right in the middle of the guide in the back so when u push forward and back it dont hit the top or bottom of the guide hope this helps. Also make sure your blades are balanced.Another thing put shock oil on your seesaw holder where it meets the main shaft that helps the pitch be smother also make sure all your links are smooth to do that use needle nose pliers and give them a lil squeez at a time till they are smooth. If u have any more questions let me know ill try to help

Last nite when I was putting it together, I did notice that there was resistance there, and I did oil it. The swash plate peg is right in the middle when level. I just put the training gear back on, and im going to go out in the front yard as soon as it is done charging, and give it a go. I will be back with the results in a few... wish me luck !!! im pretty nervous now...

That was fun, and I had the sense to stop before I got into trouble. Thats the hard part for me it seems. And I can't keep it in one spot, and thats with the balls just touching the ground. LOL It's gunna take me 6 months to hoover it looks like... im having fun though...

When it starts to wander off, it take's alot of input to bring it back. Now very responsive in my mind. Real sluggish feeling... is it just me ??? Are the flybar paddels supposed to be level with the control tray ? That's how mine are...

I am trying to trim it, but it doesn't seem very accurate, in otherwords, I need alot of practice. I have it about as good as I can get it. Just trying to control it now. Goin back out for another practice run. Hope I don't break nothin... here we go !!!

Did a little better that time... Got er off the ground about 6 to 10 inches, and controlled it pretty good for a change. I see why you don't want to pull the throttle back all the way now... Now im coming down and sorta bouncing lightly which felt real good over slamming and boom striking. LOL I might get the hang of this after all... Im stoked !!! Yipeeeeeee !!!

its really not that hard once get used to the way it flies and what u have to do if the heli goes up,down, left or right and the tail you will do just fine try and practice keeping the tail steady while taking off and landing and hovering. When you can hover your whole pack 3 to 4 time with out having problems then u can start moving around.Picture a square and stay in it for a couple of packs. That is whats working for me.
