I just got my Super Sniper -
I have a question regarding the thurst pipe. Would it be worth constructing something with fiberglass rather than the card board solution or will this just add extra weight and no extra performance?
Thanks in advance

Actually, you should make a new one out of .005 lexan/acetate. It will be lighter and smoother than the stock unit. There is no reason to go to a heavy FG thrust tube.
Good luck,

Go to staples and get a piece of laminate. They can make it for you for 3.00 dollars. Use clear storage tape to hold it together. Use the orginal paper thrust tube for your epoxy mix or throw away. I have a really nice stup if you are interested for that jet. Motor and fan with esc and li-po battery. 500.00 dollars worth of electronics for 300.00 if you are interested. Kontronic 480-42 motor, CC Phoenix 60 ESC, Wemotec fan and a 11.1v 4200mah 3s2p battery. Speeds are over 125 mph with this setup.
