well had a bit of an incident... lol
Doing a high alpha approach and judged the height wrong as i came over my car... ramped up the windscreen and then plopped off the back/side. Totalled the nose and damaged the wing slightly but otherwise not bad.
I've now rebuilt the nose and put a layer of fiberglass over the top (see pic below) and am now running some fiberglass down the leading edges... also been sanding and filling to get the whole thing smooth and ready for paint. Messing about with making a new nose has got my tinkering juices going so I'm thinking I might mess around and see if i can do a lightweight retract solution while I'm at it.
I think she'll be a lot less prone to hangar rash with a light bit of fiberglassing on the key points, and should hold up to some less than ideal landings that much better. The thing is though, even though i only used one light layer it's as hard as a rock and pointy too... best not to crash into someone now I think!
I'll add more pics as i go even though no one will be watching lol

Hey Tarro,
I just ordered a Typhoon. I have used a HET 6904 and typhoon 2w-450 system with a 100a ESC in my F-15 and ordered the same for the typhoon. The motor/fan is a monster. I live in colorado at about 7000 ft and things here struggle a bit. This will be my first pure Delta wing config. so I will need help understanding about the reflex setup. Got any tips?
