Hi,
Here's those pics finally. The one pic is of one of those long necked nuts that originally went to the weedeater cable. I cut it down slightly, and drilled/threaded it all the way through. Then I drilled the prop out slightly larger to accomodate the shoulder of the nut, and put the nut on "backwards", so that the neck, or shoulder, of the nut went through the prop. The other two pics show the rest.
The sleeve with set screw that you see, is something that I picked up at the hardware store. After I cut the center out of that particular flywheel to use to mount the magnet, it turned out to be slightly small in diameter. So I found that sleeve with set screw at the hardware store, and used it over the top of my custom hub, and mounted the magnet to it.
Hope it all makes sense,
Take care,
AV8TOR

HI AV8tor: Looks like a good idea. I thinking maybe all of us could turn this series of posts into a picture collection of all good ideas RCer,s could get too all in one place. The engine in the mill has Zenoa 1490 on the cyl base. (red max?) The engine on stand is a Poulan 46cc. The other photo is a close up of how to make a carb vent tube. Thanks Capt,n

The Poulan is a 46cc. I hear they are very good. The engine in the mill is mine (a red-max) the other engines are some I liked and stored the photos in my computer. What do you think. Some folks may like this...no arguments...but a lot of data. A picture is worth a thousand words! By the way I got a few more engine photos (some mine)I will post, if people like!!! Capt,n

When posting a photo....please post it in the Engine & Hardware post...so all photos are in one place. Thanks Capt,n I was hoping the Moderator could help us place all the photos in one forum.

How much rpm and thrust did you get with the Ryobi on glow???
Nice challenge, did it become a kicker??
How much fuel does it consumes per minute??
I think around two ounces per minute or more right??
I´m sure the ryobi on glow is a great engine.
Did it uses the standar carbuertor or must be modified/ replaced??
Hope for your info.

The engine on the stand is the 42cc Poulan. With a different muffler it turns a MA 20x10 at 7360rpm or a Pro Zinger 20x8 at 7560rpm.
