Hi, I am just finishing up a Super 045 coversion and it was relatively easy. The carb need an adapter since the saw uses a rubber tube to the case where the carb was originally mounted. I am using a C&H ignition. It currently is in NM getting a new set of rings but will be ready by Aug for running.
Good luck
