Default Zama Remote Primer bulb?

My Craftsman weedwacker maytake to the air if I cannot find a primer bulb ( remote ) for the zama carb.
Am wondering if this thing will run without it? Any Ideas? It has been running real good till the primer broke.
Its mounted on the air cleaner housing and does not appear to be repairable. I can see why the landfills are full of these things as Sears say the manufacturer no longer makes these parts. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Aloha, Les

Almost any small engine shop has a diversity of primer bulbs. Just buy one that matches the bad one. Watch out for the fuel line sizes though.

Les:
The primer isn't required. All it does is fill the carb with fuel. Turning over the motor a couple of times with the choke on does the same thing. Small motor shop should have lots of used ones kicking around. Just get one with the same throat size. Linkages can be modified for use.

IF ITS A REMOTE BULB JUST TAKE THE HOSES OFF AND HOOK THE HOSE FROM THE TANK TO THE FITTING ON THE CARB. IF ITS BUILT ONTO THE BOTTOM OF THE CARB U CAN CUT A PIECE OF 1/16 NEOPRENE RUBBER THE SAME OUTSIDE DIA AND USE THE METAL CLAMPING RING AND DO AWAY WITH IT THAT WAY. THIS FLAT RUBBER DISC WILL STILL WORK AS A PRIMER AND COULD SAVE SOME NEEDED SPACE.

Thanks guys, I took off the remote primer bulb and plugged the line going into the tank & carb and it fired right up.
