Thank you, Thank you! Capt,n Unfortunately that is not me flying. In my dreams maybe!

The plane is flown by a professional RC pilot. The BCMA-26 engine is sold on www.bcmaengines.com There is also a 40cc version of the same engine too. The photos that were attached were from the website gallery.

This tiny little gas engine rocks!!

Well guys, I ordered the NITRO PLANES big Tiger Moth. Couldn't resist; I liked it too much and the price was great! So, I broke down and bought it for myself for my birthday with my little sweety's blessing. (As always. I'm a lucky guy because she never worries about what I spend on my hobbies!)

Anyway, I'm thinking a Ryobi 31cc to keep everything inside that nice narrow cowl. I'll let you know how it looks when it arrives...

Well guys...my next engine purchase will be a Toro 25cc. I read all about them a Home Depot. The engine has a forged crank and rod. It has high quality ball berings on crank. I checked the compression....and wow....it the highest of any small engine I cranked. Looked at the carb. It has a neat looking 2 barrel carb. Anyway...I got to convert one. I am giving the Mac 25 to my Grandson. Yup he is a top notch flyer. Lfe has been good

Two barrel carb? Tell me more........

A buddy came over today along with another club member. We converted an Echo 18(?)cc, I was impressed with this little engine that could. 7200RPM with a 16/10. Idles at a nice easy 1850rpm. Weighs a wopping 3 pounds ready to fly. I gotta get me one of those. And those, and that one, and er.....all those other ones over there.

Hi,

My birthday is April 5th. Bull headed old Aries. Oh, that's "Ram" huh...

Yeah, can't wait to see the Tiger Moth. Not the best aerobatic mount obviously, but I've always loved it's lines. Congrats on your Ultimate Biplane aeronut! Don't you love it when a plane comes together???

Wow, 7200 rpms on a 16 x 10 prop with a Kioritz 18cc? That's good! Are you sure it's not a 21, 22, 23.6 or 25cc Echo/Kioritz?

I am not sure at all what size it is, other than it is an Echo. We pulled the head, measured and did the math, it comes in around 18cc or so. I dont have the figures in front of my right now. It sure looks alot smaller than any of the 25's I have sitting around. Does anyone happen to know the exact size of the threads on those? (Prop adapter)

From what I have seen the threads are usually 8mm x 1.0.

The newer Echo,s are 21.2cc and 22.8cc. They claim to have a high output piston for max performance. Capt,n
