homelite 45 carb position problem
i have a homelite 45 chainsaw engine with a bolt on carb. the carb adjustment screws are facing the prop and there is no way to adjust the carb with the engine running. i can't turn the carb 180 degrees because the manifold hole isn't round. what do i do now?
also, what is the second hose spigot for?

RE: homelite 45 carb position problem
The second hose spigot should be plugged. It originally went to a hand pump bulb and returned to the tank to prime the carb with fuel.
Without the pump or a check valve in the line, it can suck air or at least let air into the carb
Most of my engines have the needles on the front. It didn't seem that hard to set them up by starting and stopping the engine
