I ran the 180 yesterday and it run fine . I forgot how messey two strokes can be. Would it be feisable to convert it to gas? Would I have to put bearings in the connecting rod? I know I would have to get an adaptor for the carb. Thanks Rich

making an adpter for the carb on the magnum 180 is very easy, just take a 1/4 aluminum plate and drill the holes to match the ones in the carb and the ones in the carburator base on the engine , you'll need to also make a spacer, play with the carb position so it doesn't interfere with it's operation, I converted mine to gas/glow and it worked so good that a friend of mine bought it from me because he liked it so much.
