there was an issue with the motor's decal covering one of the holes but that has been taken care of.

I have a eagle 50 and I find that the Ventom Nightranger 3D have the same parts, as well as the Walkera Dragon Fly H22E

If you're prone to crashing & worried about burning out motors or receivers, simply solder a 5 amp automotive fuse in-line on the main & tail motors' red wire. Bettr to blow out a fuse upon crash or blocked blade, then to burn up parts.

if you are spending money to get a USB to serial adapter why not get a USB simlulator for $19.95.

1 you havew to install the fuses or you'll keep burning the receiver out
2 the esky toy transmitter works fir 6 ch helis -whats the difference from a 6ch radio besides the pit.plt knobs???
3 Get the clearview simulator and use the esky toy trans -awesome sim and no burning batteries -the usb cable won't work on a lot of trans

I purchased an Eagle 50 from XHeli. Plugged in the battery and released the smoke. I initially contacted Xheli and was shuffled to Raidentech, who is apparently the parent company. I have contacted Raidentech with several e-mails asking for a RMA. I'm just getting a runaround. They have no interest in supporting this product. The stock reply is, "We will send you an RMA ASAP." Then I wait. I wait some more, and I send another e-mail. I was told to contact a phone number that is eternally busy ... most likely off the hook. I send additional e-mails asking why they don't just send the RMA instead of promising to do so? No reply. Figures.

So, I reckon I'm stuck with it. Anyone have any suggestions for upgrading to a 2.4 system? I won't send another dime for any product offered by Raidentech. I've got a Spectrum D6i, so I'd like to keep it in the Spectrum genre of products. Can't seem to find any mixer that will work.

yeah ive had a similiar problem with raidentech, although not related to the eagle 50 which i also own and hate constantly needing to replace parts.
basically ordered a few 3 channel helis from raidentech.. the shipping is ridiculously priced. they really should use fedex which charges 30% cheaper than ups....
on top of thier bad service. no reply.. one of my helis came with no TX ...
its a channel rtf pixy and i ordered 2 one had a tx one didn't. i contacted them finally and they said what freq is it and they will send it out.. after giving them all my info and they said they would send it to me.. its been two months already and no TX in the mail. they keep repeating themselves like a robot answering machine when i send email, so screw them they get a bad buisness rating and have been reported to the better business bureau

Does anybody know how to get more than three flights out of an eagle 50 without having to replace the main motor? I am past my 30 day warranty so it doesnt matter what happened my supplier will not warranty the motor. The brush holder fell off yes fell off inside the motor. I guess i need to cut the blades down to 5 inches each, maybee this will help. Fed up with this.
