I got soo irritated installing the Jett-50 back in the Patriot that I grabbed a hack-saw and cut the nose off so I could mount the engine properly... [X(]

This Patriot is on it's last leg, I think this Revvers may be it's last stand so to speak--- The covering is old and wrinkled, the wing and tail tips are chipped and bent- (It is still easily fast enough to take Dave's F-20 though..)

I just cannot go to a Revvers thing without a Patriot! Heck even my Jett-50 is on life support (Not due to man. but it was fried when I got it and it has been rebuilt with random parts [X(])

I got all 3 ships ready--- now my goal is to NOT CRASH THEM before the 21/22nd

...heh heh heh....Razor wore out that funky ol' Patriot trying to stay with
the screaming Rossi powered F-20....I might even give him another
chance to redeem himself this time....

It got a little ugly and a little political but treachery and speed prevailed at the end of the day. The Carolina Crew knows about the Revver B-hood and what the # means after today![>:]
Of course my best friend told me "untill you are the lead dog the veiw never changes".
I had a blast anyway!

Cool Vic! That looks like loads of fun... Your airplane looks the best so that counts for something-

I WOULD be careful though carrying a small metal case with a skull and cross-bones on it, is it a dirty nuke or an .049 mint colored speed-ship? Both are equally dangerous in your hands! *** Hilarity ***

Dave was fast to pass the trash my way--- I added a pic of the fine workanship and patience I displayed today... (Only had 20 minutes before the Chargers game)

I may retrofit the Hacked cowl and stick it back on--- (I even thought, for about 2 seconds, about glassing myself a new cowl over the balsa one, then carving the balsa out...)

I figure I can sacrifice 37MPH and still have a NOTICEABLE edge over Flyboy-IMTREACHEROUS-Dave.

Some day Bob! We will hold you to that...

I am going to try to push for a Revvers twice a year... Hopefully it'll get bigger every time!

FBD- What other 2 planes are you building before 21/22nd?

FBD- Oh! I thought those were done already... So 5 maidens then with the 2 quickees?

SWEET!

Vic- You're not whinin' are ya? Cuz there is NO whinin' in the revvers

Vic in your honor we'll just make every other get together an official event so you can make the official ones... (I got you covered)

I flew my FBD F-20 killer today... had to trim it out since I installed the new engine mount... Guess I should try to "re-attach" the cowl for the Revvers---

Cheers!

Razor....yep, 5 maiden flights....I love the excitement of new planes.

I think Tom has a Mach Racer too. I had mine mocked-up for that picture,
I was finding an engine that would fit in it.

Cool! That is half the fun... The nervous anticipation of the first flight at sunrise, that wonderment of aviation, that shot of Tequila...

I am really itchin' to test fly the magnum- Not sure how I like my chances with "pops" throwin' it for me...

Okay, I have to actually get that F-20 in flight ready condition. I need to see if the motor runs (never started) and hook up some linkage or something.

I have NIB several ARF's. But the speed variety are the Mach Racer, the Shrike, and the Sonic 500. At the speed I work (slow as molasses in Maine in winter) I will be happy if I can get the F-20 ready.

Oh, and maybe my Rascal 40 with the Saito .45 might decide to cooperate.

Tom....get the F-20 ready....

....I want to hear your knees banging together when you maiden it !!!

Yo, Razor....ask Pop's if he wants the Rearwin Speedster....no biggie. I think
it would be really cool with a Magnum .52 FS as a cruisen' plane.

(...we'll make ol' Pops's into a racer yet, he he )

FBD, I thought you might be making your Mach a full flying wing with no vertical surfaces!

Razor, IIRC there were several 'slow' planes at the last Revvers.

That Mach racer looks like about 4 hours to me-
The formula is: R1h=K2w

R=Razor
K=Kmot
h=Hours
w=Weeks
