the scary part of that is, what this site has now, is what the other site will have in, in it's next upgrade, because the guys doing this site, are the same guys that own and write the code of v bulletin. this is the only reason i am trying to make suggestions to improve what we have here.

next question for the IB guys,

why is the deleted adds selection, pre-selected?

Most people really liked the old site, absolutely no good reason to change it. Have not tried to use, looks like all the other sites so what's the point?

Just for fun I tried to list, no more user ratings on products or manufactures specs. No OEM pictures , nothing. These were things that made RCU's market really stand out.

The management of this site has no idea how to gather requirements and balance them with business needs to produce a usable product.

To refresh your memory here is what happens when trying to look at 2Stroke Engines after looking at various Airplanes. It loses the search context for 2StrokeEngines and displays the previous Airplane for sale. You acknowledged opening the ticket on March 27th at 1:24 PM EDT

Clueless and don't care.

The attitude seems to be that you'll like what you get or then to hell with you. And if everyone leaves, that's their loss.

They'll go. If you don't serve your audience, they'll find someone else who does.

And the ticket is still being dealt with. None of us are in IT, nor are any of us a CIO.

All aboard the fail boat! Trying to list an item is a disaster. Says invalid price and must list condition even after it has been done.

On top of not liking the new format at all...I paid extra in November for NO ADS when I repaid membership for posting/etc.
This new format has me loaded with ads.
This sucks.

I agree, this is a very annoying glitch,, A trick to avoid this is to Right click on the link to the item you want to look at and then "Open in new tab",,, then the ad listing page will stay the same.

good luck

I miss the old classified site. It was simple and effective. This one is not user friendly, its slower, and the pictures aren't as easily assessable as before.

Thanks Scale 4 Me, I too use chrome and that was very annoying if you were 5 or 6 pages in and it took you back to 1.

It would be great if possible to save a link with prefered search. This way I don't have to check the boxes everytime I enter the page.

In searching this thread I didn't find an answer, but is there a way to re-open or copy an expired listing? The old marketplace had this functionality.

Thanks!

Right now, copy/paste. In the future we will have the extension ability.

Soo.. ran into a problem trying to list an item for sale, I seem to end up with an endless loading circle each time..

I've tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge), and even different computers without success. I never had any issues with the old marketplace on selling or buying over the years, and my account shows as trading plus member on here, just wondering what I'm missing or overlooking to be able to post a listing or two.

I couldn't recreate this. Might be a connection issue on your end or your image might be too large.

I don't think it's a connection issue since everything on here loads quickly, I'm able to select category, description, photo, etc with no problems. It's only after I click 'list it' it shows a loading circle in the middle of the screen, even waiting 10 minutes it doesn't seem to do anything and never shows an error message.

The image is only 1280x960 (439KB) so I wouldn't think that's too large but I can try with something smaller sized tomorrow. Any other help on it is appreciated, Thanks.
