Default Elevon setup in Futaba 10c

I am helping a friend set up a Elevon equiped model. It is a E-flite Carbon-Z Scimitar. The radio is a Futaba 10C mode 1
It has two Elevons each with a seperate servo. I have set up the elevon function OK , BUT, The Aileron stick operates the Elevons as Elevators i.e both elevons operate in the same direction. The Elevator stick operates the elevons as Ailerons, i.e each elevon operates in oposite direction . it is as if the stick functions (ailerons and elevator) are reversed.
Is it possible to assign a function to a stick as I can do in my 14mz?. Any help would be appreciated.
I can see the servo movement on the screen.

Thanks

Unfortunately there is no Function menu in the 10C radios.

Did you try reversing one of your servos in the Reverse menu?

Thanks Krysta,
I can't understand why the functions are reversed. I have used the Elevon setup correctly (i think). Can you explain why the functions are reversed? Has anyone used the elevon setup on a 10C radio? Does it actually work as advertised? has anyone else has a similar problem?
I can't see how reversing one servo would fix the problem.
Can someone try it on their 10C radio and see if the problem can be duplicated?

Regards

Depending on how servos are mounted in the plane itself, you may need to reverse a servo or two in your setup, this happens in any plane.

Did you try reversing a servo?

This does happen, I actually wrote an FAQ for our website regarding this problem:

Hi Krysta,

I have got the model set up OK. Thanks to your help. My confusion came from looking at the servo display, which gave the appearance of the function being reversed. When I connected the servos all was OK. I did have to reverse one of the servos and that fixed the problem.
I should know better than to doubt your expertise !!.
Regards
