Default T10J and flaps

I cant seem to figure this out and maybe not possible.
I moved the Flaps from the VR knob to the 3 position "G" switch so i can adjust them to Full up, Half down,Full down. Seems easy enough right?
It's not that easy.
I can get full up and full down but the center position does almost nothing and i can not figure out how to make this work in the 3 different positions.
Can some one help with this problem. Been trying all day!
Thanks

Take a look at this older thread. Let me know how you have your flaps set up

That thread not the problem as far as i can tell
Transmitter : Futaba T10J
Receiver : R3008SB/FHSS Airplane mode 1
Plane :TF P-51
Ailerons 2 servos on CH1 with Y harness
Elevator 1 servo CH2
Throttle 1 servo CH3
Rudder 1 servo CH4
Landing gear 1 servo CH5
Flaps 2 servos with Y harness CH6
The problem seems to be setting the end points for the switch position.
Full up seems correct
Mid position(50%) i can adjust to the proper position (using end point)but then switch position 3 moves the flaps very little
If i adjust switch position 2 for more movement(over 50%) then switch position 3 will move the flaps over the amount needed for full down.

First, I would not use a Y on the flaps. Plug them into their own channels. Then you can follow the set up as shown in the link I sent you. Using a Y makes it very difficult to set things up correctly.

I also set my flaps up like this:

Set travel and subtrims to zero
Set switch to mid flap position (middle position on switch)
Make sure servo is centered and physically adjust the flaps linkages to get 50% flaps.
Then use end point on each channel to adjust zero and full flap positions.

You should look at Page 112 of the manual and consider using the flap trim menu as that may work as well if you prefer to stay with a Y
