I'm trying to create a mix (that is on all the time = switch assignment is "null") that will cause the elevator to lower a little as the throttle is advanced.
It appears to me it should be as easy as going to one of the mixes in the Advanced menu and setting the throttle as master and the elevator as slave. I've tried that and nothing happens.
Is there a trick to this I don't know?
Thanks for the help in advance.

PROG.MIX1
MIX>ON
MAS>THRO
SLV>ELEV
LINK>OFF
TRIM>OFF
SW>A
POS>NULL
RATE> DOWN 0% UP XX% (sets elevator travel)
you may have to swap these numbers depending on your servo setup
OFFSET 0
The offset controls where the mix "kicks in" in relation to throttle setting. With the cursor over offset, put the stick in whatever position you want the mix to be active and press the dial to set.
0 offset has mix for full range of thr stick, 50 offset mix only above 50% throt.

If your engine experiences wide trim changes with throttle application, then the thrust line of the engine needs to be adjusted.
If you add throttle and the plane tends to nose up, then you need to add some down thrust. Changing the thrust line a small amount at a time will greatly reduce the need to adjust the trim of the elevator when you change the throttle.

flatfour,
Your idea will only make the trim work for half of the throttle travel. If you want to make it work for the entire travel, you have to use both ends of the throttle and offset to get the desired effect.
