Mine will be going on a Aeroworks Extra 300. I am waiting on the plane in the mail kind of a hold up do to the wether here in NC. Got some snow on the ground whole place is shut down. Last thing that I heard was they could not find the keys to the plows.

I use the Airtronics RDS8000 and I've been very happy with it. I purchased it with an 8ch RX for about $150. That was two years ago.
Today I would recommend the SD-10G or SD-6G. I think you will be happy with the SD-6G for $159. Airtronics 2.4ghz technology is rock solid and much less expensive that competitive equipment.
If you want more info on Airtronics, seach the forums for related threads...there are a few out there.

My wife has relatives over in Lexington. They use water hoses & leaf blowers to clear the snow.
Betchya ALL the beer, bread, and milk is gone from the stores there....in that order too!

Here are a few pics of my custom exhaust for my showtime 90. The entire engine and muffler fit completely insidde the tight showtime cowling. I used two 4oz aluminum cans to make the muffler. The muffler is a two chamber style using the top of one bottle as a joiner and cone.

Well that was the first pic I have uploaded on rcuniverse! It would not allow me to put all the pics on one post "file too large" so here are the other two. I still have to add the stinger.

They are almost as quiet as a cannister exhaust as I make the muffler with two chambers. Here is the first one I did for my Patty with the DL50

Here was another candidate for the dl 20 but it got the .91 surpass. I still love my 4 stroke glow too.

That is a nice looking aircraft for sure. I know what you mean about the 4 strokes, I still love mine as well. I do have to make one comment you have to do something with that workshop of yours. I thought you were working in the house until I saw the bike and wings on the wall. LOL! Throw some dust around make a mess, your making me look bad......

For the exhaust flange on the 20 I used brass flat stock and on the 50 I just pounded a piece of copper pipe flat, then I make a paper stencil of the exhaust and use a drill and file to shape the flange.

RE: What Aircraft are you installing your DLE20
After I got the engine mounted on the Hurricane I put on the cowling, prop and spinner, put it together and put on the cg meter to get an idea where I need to put batteries, ignition etc. I found that this engine is considerably lighter than the 120 OS FS it is replacing. I am going to have mount both batteries and ignition system in the cowling as far forward as possible and will probably still have to add weight to the prop hub. I've got the throttle hooked up and now working on the choke. I thought this engine would be too heavy for some of my longer nosed airplanes such as the P-40, but I guess not. If this engine runs as good as reported, this plane ought to go like a rocket at 9.5 lbs.

I've got a GP kit built .60 size Extra300. I was planning on putting a Saito 100 in it. Santa brought me a new DLE 20 that should bolt right in with little modification. I can't wait to try this new little gasser out.
