I was wondering if you can turn a gas engine carbruator 180 degrees like you can on most glow engine carbs. The carb on my engine is a walbro.
It sure would make the thing fit better in my plane.
Thanks,
Rick

Probably not if by rotating it the carb's little vacum hole no longer lines up with the crankcase vacum hole... you carb won't automatically draw fuel as it should therefore limiting top end performance.

Not a problem...You can turn the whole carb or just take the shaft out and put it in from the otherside..If you turn the carb you will have to put a pressure tap into the crankcase and another one in the back plate of the carb...Connect the two and you're all set.On some engines it's easy to put the pressure tap into the cylinder where the transfer port goes up the side..What engine do you have ?

Oh I forgot to give which engine I have. I have an MVVS 1.6. It already has a pressure tap into the crankcase, so I would guess that I would have to just re-route the existing pressure line. I know I am sounding kinda stupid here, but this is my first gas engine, and as you know they are a bit different to set up from the glow engines. Thanks for the info.
