When mounting my engine I noticed that the right mount is slightly shorter (about 3/16) than the left which causes about 1.5 degrees of right thrust offset.
Is this correct ?? Just checking to see if the offset is supposed to be built in.
There is not any play in the mounting holes that would cause this and the mounts will only fit on the proper side of the engine so they are correct.
This would also dictate that the engine always be mounted inverted unless you shim between the mount and the firewall plate.
Thanks,
Dan

The engine shoud not mount with any right or left angle in relation to the firewall. If you need an angled thrust line, then you would either shim the engine or build it into the firewall. If you send an email to our address below, we'll be glad to see how we can help you.
