Look at the engine conversion thread's and you will probably find your answer. All kinds of info. on getting engines started with carb. and other modifications. Good luck.

Did you lighten the flywheel by taking the Magnets out of it [sm=lol.gif]
Why would you do all this work and sacrafice reliability for a little more power ? You can buy a new G-26 for 300 bucks !

An airplane G26 is a different animal, with a different crankcase, won't fit on the scooter.....It's posssible the flywheel key is not there or maybe the keyway in the new flywheel is not in the right place...It will spark but if not in the right place...Maybe you could compare the new light flywheel with the older one to check location of the keyway...

keyway is in the same place, but another interesting fact, for some reason fuel is being blown back through the carb,i removed the carb, found alot of pressure being pump out when engine is spun over

what the hell is a race ported carb??
start by turning your high and low needles out 2 turns from closed.
what make of carb is it?? got a photo to show us??
have you got any gasket leaks??...check by using soapy water and brush it around the gaskets and slowly turn the engine over. if you get bubbles thats where a leak will be.
