Default 3W 170 BF2

Does any one know if the bolt pattern of the 3W 170 BF2 and the DA-150 are the same? I have a 40% Carden Cap and it had a DA-150 in it but I want to put the 3W 170 BF2 in it if it bolts right up.

Thanks

The bolt pattern of the DA150 and 3W157 are identical. The 157 is identical to the 170, so it should fit on the DA150 also.....

Greetz.

Alexzzz's info is incorrect.

The bolt pattern for the 3W 150 and DA 150 are exactly the same.

The bolt pattern for the 3W 150 is different from the 157/170.

The 3W157/170 is exactly the same.

Hope that helps.

Incorrect? That is strange; I have a 3W150, 2x 3W157 and a DA150, you want me to make pictures?

I don't have to call or email anybody, I have all those engines (except the 3w170, but that is the same as the 157) here, but more important; Do you have those engines? Guess not

Here you have the proof[8D]

If you are right, this shouldn't be possible, does it?[>:]

Alexzzz,

I think there is a misconception here. He is talking about the engine mounting bolt pattern, not the prop bolt pattern.

You are correct they all have the same prop bolt pattern.

But not the same engine engine bolt mounting pattern.

I think that is where the confusion is.

Yeah it is the mounting bolt pattern that I am talking about. So they are not the same correct?

That's correct, they're not the same. But it's very easy to drill new holes? You will have lots of extra power with the 3W170 The 157 also has some more power than the DA150.
