I recently rebuilt the carb on my Zenoah G62, however, I did not remove and replace the little plug that feeds I believe the high speed needle. Reason being is I wasn't sure how to remove it. Now that I have everything back together, like a dummy I want to remove it and clean the screen under that cap as well. What is the best/easiest way of removing it, and does the new one just press back in? Main reason I am wanting to do this is because the engine seems to be running lean even when I adjust the HS needle value out. From what I have read, this is a highly probable area for my problem as the engine sat (with fuel) for nearly a year. The screen I could get to had quite a bit of crud on it, so I am wondering it the other side isn't in the same condition.

The welch plug is supposed to be removed using a special tool from Walbro. What happens is that tool is used to knock a hole in the plug at an angle and then used to pry out the plug. Another tool is used to sqaurely tap in a new plug. You can do the same process with items found in your shop. Visit the Walbro website and download some instructions and carb rebuilding.
