what size tank do i need?

i have just purchased my first petrol motor a crrc pro gf26i v2. have always flown glow fuel but that is getting a bit expensive these days. so i have decided to try petrol. can anyone tell me what size tank i will need for this engine?. there is no info in the manual about tank size , any info would be great thanks.

my dad allways said you never have too much gas unless your on fire. 24 oz will give you plenty of flight time. I believe a 26 cc engine used somewhere around 1oz per minute at full throttle

Why carry more onboard weigh than is necessary, remember lighter flies better, plus as T.O.M alluded to, even if your tank is right on the CG the last portion of your flight time will most likely be the best.

24 ounces on a 26cc gas engine, it will probably fly for over an hour on 1 tank.
For a 26cc I have been using those little tanks that come with the .40 size hangar 9 ARFS, I think they are a little under 11 ounces. After a full 10 min flight I still have plenty of gas left to make quite a few passes if the runway is busy or whatever.
