Default New DLA 32

Posted this on the other site, But being I can not post a link to it thought I would hust post it here to.

A few months back we seen couple new engine hit the market called a DLA 56 and DLA112, They got ripped pretty hard by people (including me) for there name and lack of English communications.

A couple months back I got one of there 56cc and have been pretty impressed with it and have been talking with a few people around the world that have also tried them and they also have been impressed.

I have been talking with the manufacture about there engines for about 4 months and from what I have seen they are 100% for customer satisfaction but time will tell.

There was also some smart remarks about them coming out with a DLA 30, Well they did just that but it is a 32cc.

Do not have all the specs for the engine but told it is in the same weight class as most 30cc engines and performs well, This is not a over night release it has been in testing for over 4 months, but like all the engines coming out of China, time will tell.

Below is a couple pictures of the 32cc

Looks good to me. It is just a matter of time before others will tell us that this engine is a copy of other engines.

I like the rear carb. Who is selling these?

Interested in seeing actual measurements for the bore and stroke before anything else. Photos show the back to be different from the other obvious source.

Certainly the name is confusing, DLE, DLA, DA, ***. How do they differ from DLE, except for the obvious anodizing, on the crankcase?

That anodizing is the first thing that makes me nervous. An obvious marketing gimmick to get the monkeys and parrots to pick up the shiny object. The Chinese do not add anything that increases cost unless there's a reason.

Still waiting for the 32cc to come out but the 56cc has done so good we ordered some of the 112cc for a couple local flyers that seen the 56 flying.

Some have asked for video of it, That is a lot of work but going to try and get some pictures of it and the RPM with a 22-10 carbon fiber prop, Right now we are getting 7450 RPM

From the one I had it was machined, Ears breaking on any engine with stand offs is not uncommon, Sometimes it is due to the fact that the installer did not drill the holes exactly right and drilled the 5mm instead of 5.5 mm and then force the standoffs to match what they drilled.

I seen a picture posted a while back showing the ears broken on a engine and it was still mounted to the plane, You could see a 3/16" space between the broken ear and the engine.

<hr />Thanks for your kind reply, but please understand I did not purchase a DLA engine. I have no problems except why do I read others say DLE is stamped on the pistons?

It is good that you want to solve the problems customers may have. Good customer service and a well built engine should be good for selling DLA engines...but you will need to do just what you say to succeed. Best Regards, capt,n

Hi captinjohn

I have noticed that that ur postwas just a paste from H.K.so I understand now .

As for the mark on the piston,I should let u know that the piston of DLA and DLE are from the same factory,it only hapened on the first batch of DLA engines, later, the piston factory had alreadysolved this problems.

I dont know thepost of piston mark several months ago was wanton attack or well-meaning remind, anyway, thx !

For the after-sale-service,we do as we promised

best regards from DLA team

Unfortunately it was DA from the USA that gave them such a bad mounting design to copy.

I have found out that engines DLE and dla are the same except crankcase is magnesium on DLA. Found man at Austin Tex 3dhobby event that they are rare for about 2 weeks. Send message if you want one and i will get him to reply. He works with Deltarcengines.com Very nice folks. At present IBCINYOU.com has one left and it is mew. Good people also.
