RE: PAU 36% Edge 540 Assembly
Hi Ken, I am wondering if anybody is flying the 36% edge on the DL-100. I`m also thinking about a123 batteries 6.6 (2- 2300) and the smart fly power expander sport. I would use hitec 5955`s on everything except the rudder would be a jr 8711. I have the new airtronics 8 channel 2.4ghz which I am currently flying a 30% sd yak, DL-50 with 2-2300 6- volt nimh and 2-switches and have no problems with the radio or receiver. Does anybody know how the balance is with the DL-100 (if any weight has to be added to the tail). I don`t fly imac (yet), but I still want a safe set-up, not lacking in power for whatever type of flying I might do in the future. I`m just trying to do some research and reading before I push the "buy now" button. Thanks for any ideas or comments.

Sounds like a good setup to me. The one thing a do not like about the Airtronics radio is the lack of DR/EXP on the rudder unless the newer radios now have that. Your setup means any type of flying you wish is possible. If the weight of the DL is around the same as the new DA's you should have no issues with balance. You would want to place the batteries on the rudder tray.

RE: PAU 36% Edge 540 Assembly
I am putting a DL100 in my Edge. The weight is a little lighter than a DA100, but not much. If you use the stock mufflers that come with the DL, it would be lighter. If you switch to cans or DA stock mufflers than it should be very close, since the DL mufflers are lighter than the other. It will be a while before I get everything installed in mine, since I will not be flying till the snow goes.
