Saito doesn't have anything that comes close in size to the DA-150. The largest Saito is the 220 which is 2.2 cubic inches or 36cc.
The DA-150 is 150cc's or 9.1 cubic inches or 4.1 times larger than the largest Saito.

G'day Glenn. Mate I have to congratulate you and Austars for picking this one up and running with it. Tommy is doing a great job, and I am sure there is some after market improvements being added to the initial design by you blokes.
I entered into discussions with Tommy when he first started trying to sell these aircraft, and I am really glad you blokes took it up and are really doing it justice. I certainly didn't have the time or resources to do it the justice you bloke are. Also have to congratulate Austar models for the leaps and bounds they have made with the development of your products and customer service. your a great example of what the industry really needs. I really hope your venture works out for you guys, you really deserve it for the amount of effort your putting into your development.
I really hope to get my hands on one of these big Cessna's in the not to distant future, they look the bomb. Can't wait to see the video.
Do you blokes have these new props in for 100 size engines? I can see one on my Sukhoi and a bigger one (DA150) for my Ultimate (yeah, I ended up getting one).
If you end up selling your demonstrator 206 I'll have it.
Did you have a look at the Thrush and Drom after our last phone conversation?
Cheers, Wiz.

Hi DJ,
Yes the paint was Custom as I wanted my model to be based off friends 1998 Model Cessna Skylane that he operates here in Melbourne, Australia.
In one my previous posts you can see the actual photos of the plane.
Cheers,
Steve

RE: TMMY Scale Composites 35% scale Cessna
I am really thinking of ordering one of these Cessnas... but I am holding back for some more information.
1) Do we need to order through Australia? The POSTAGE is a KILLER.
I sent my Grand mother a 1 kg Xmas Press from Japan to OZ and it cost about $Au10, She send a .210Gram Calander from OZ to Japan and it cost her $Au4.95, Australia Post are a bunch of crooks .... So can we order this plane straight from Thailand where the shipping fees will be cheaper then from OZ
2) Paint Scheme, I am looking at this design
but in this colour
I think the colour is called Black cherry pearl, I had the information once on my MAC but lost it when the HDD fried itself. So if anyone knows of the colour it would be a great help .....and in Gold not the Silver Platium Effect

Hi Guys,
Some new photos of my Cessna.
We get to see the seats and doors now having paint.
Shouldn't be too much longer now.
I have also included a photo of the full size variant interior detail which has been used for the interior door panels paint detailing.
Steve

Nice. Tommy certainly is doing a stellar job on these things. Austars are not going to regret taking these on I think.

It's Here and it is Baaaaad
Tommy and Co. did an excellent job in packing and crating. I was so afraid that it would arrive damaged via the slow boat from China to the US, then trucked here and forklift there, but to my surprise, not a freakin' scratch. Now the unfortunate thing for is it will be a year or so before I build herbuilding turbines at the moment and I'm out of moneyzippo!
