I have an old Byron P-51 kit, probably 15-20 years old.
The retracts leak air and I want to replace the O)-rings in the brass cylinders.
There's a groove about 1/4 inch from the end where the aluminum end fitting is.
It turns, but I can't pull it out.
How's the best way to remove the end plugs without damaging the cylinders?
I'm sure parts would be hard to come by, but I think new O rings would fix the problem.
Anyone done this before?
Thanks,

Any chance that Clippard or Bimba might make the right size cylinders? The ring near the ends of the cylinder are where the tubular portion is crimped (swaged) into the end pieces. They aren't made to come apart.

Yeah, they are a "throw away" design, and you probably will end up getting someone to make custom cylinders that fit. I don't think you will find a Clippard or Bimba that will easily adapt to them
First you might try drawing o-ring grease into the cylinder that may stop the leak though.
