Hey guys...I bought a load of stuff from a guy who was moving onto other pursuits, and found myself with the above-mentioned 61. No manual... Can you loosen that brass nut and rotate the fuel inlet to the carb? (Don't want to go after it w/ a wrench and ruin anything) Thanks![8D]

Good question...I just installed one myself, but the needle was the right way, so I never even tried to move it...you can always download a copy of the manual from www.osengines.com....I'd look for my copy, but it is somewhere under a pile of magazines and I just can't put my hands on it just now!

I have had 2 of these engines and the answer is YES. You can rotate the inlet. Also, the needle valve can be moved to either a side or top facing position. Remove the brass nut and swap it with the needle valve assembly if you want to swap positions.

Thanks for the replies. I'll monkey with it to suit my install. Plumbing used to be sooo easy. Now with remote needles and rearward carbs and what not, things are a little different. <Sigh> The times they are-a changin'....
