sorry guys, I just checked MECOA's site, the price for my 61 RI engine just jumped $68
just know that if you order an engine you may not get it for 3 or 4 weeks

well finely I got my FA100 back together, all I need to do is put the Carb on and adjust the Tappets, I hope to run it next week. you know I'm very happy I took it apart. as it was never run but it was made in 004 and sat for all these years, well some of the old oil must have gummed up some because it turns smoother today than it did when I received it, so I'm happy I took it apart, I'm pretty sure I didn't forget any parts

I started on the 90 T, I have painted the cylinders black, it's all perfect except the rear bearing, it will be here tomorrow. Thanks Gary, I'm happy with it.

Always liked those Webco rockercovers and rocker oil feed bridges. Seems like every Triumph had them back then but hard to find today. That polishing job on the timing cover is unfortunate.
Dave, Great! Good to hear that you are happy with the 90T. Bet it looks nice with the black jugs too. Let us know when you run it. I will send you some $$ for the bearing.

Ah yes, the very early Notrun Commando. My favorite of the breed but they did have some frame problems.

I unchecked the 6v option.
Now, we or I was talking about two of my CH Ignition units having the 6v and the 7.4v options checked on the back indicating a range of 6 to 7.4 volts. However on 6 volts the spark is very weak and inaudible, on 7.4 volts it really cracks. I made a mistake buying the Lipo "Suck" battery, it has about 3 pages of warnings about charging it. Taking it out of the plane would be a hassle I don't need. You need to stay away from it for the first 30 minutes of charging, You can't lay it on wood while charging, that's only part of the warnings.

Gary, please don't send any money, it was only $11.24 at BOCA, no problem. Rear bearings are a standard replace when I get an engine. The cams are perfect, the lifters have no square edges and the pump drive bearing is solid, no slop. No dings on it anywhere, I thank you again. Did you happen to put new pistons in it, they are are the most unscuffed pistons I ever saw in a previously run engine. Here is it's current state.

Not sure how much he ran it but he burns my fuel

my cousin Danny had a black Norton 850, bought it new in 72, or 73, I remember the first time I saw it, they were tiny little things, but what class and character, my brother bought a Trident triple new in 73, we would ride with my cousin, he would jump a RR crossing with the Norton, not too high, maybe 1&1/2ft at the very most, I always said to myself when he did that, that I wouldn't do that if that beautiful bike was mine. well he had that Norton for years and years and years, then sold it, then bought a big Suzuki, oh well

I think i need to see one too you should see what i just did to the hair on my top lip with the new electric trimmer again.
Dave if it's lipo batts you are talking about take care,i won't buy them and it stopped me from flying a large scale electric sailplane that i always wanted.Over here there have been lots of fires for years now and a guy i know had his whole house burnt down.At the flying club after an electric model crashes you sometimes get a lot of smoke from the plane and have to remove the batt which in this case was thrown in to a bucket of water. It was pulled out 30 mins later and promptly caught fire again. What paint are you using on the cylinders?
Barry if they call me judy (garland) does that mean i get to kiss goodbye to kansas? but seriously. My mad comics black sense of humour has sometimes upset people from day dot and no offense is intended. If i post too many motorcycle things say so.
Thank you to rc ken for the name change too.

Gary I thought the guy had burned some of the green Panther Piss in it, both combustion chamber roofs are tinted green, other than that it is nice and clean. The rear bearings is a gonner as he didn't use after run but that's OK. It'll be a sweet heart of an engine.
Welcome Rudy, and yes I was talking about LIPO batteries, I am going to contact SR Batteries and NO BS batteries and see if they'll make up a 7.2 volt NICAD or NIMH. The LIPO requires a special Molex plug that balances the cells. I certainly don't have that. I'm sure the rectric guys do.

Dave,
I guess there is a chance he ran some CP later on I didn't think he actually ran it much at all I never saw it on a plane The engine came from the estate
He got a lot of fuel from me The pistons are just about normal
