Keep an eye out. I just listed a pile of big block Saito goodies. Will be going thru the rest of the engine stuff, kits etc too.

Nothing that happened here that I saw should have caused hard feelings.

No problem, maybe I'll see one of your fa82 ads before someone snaps it up in 5 minutes.

I agree I saw nothing to cause hard feelings. I haven't seen any of your ads so the must sell like hotcakes! Let me know what kits you have my flying buddy is looking and I can tip him off to watch RCG.

This may be of some interest, the new 60-t left cylinder has aluminum valve seats, whereas the original has the bronze valve guide extended down to form a bronze seat.

I wonder if that was a quality improvement or something to cut manufacturing costs?

They moved a few other engines that had been ABC over to AAC later on in production.

That fa100 with keleo p51 exhaust for sale on RCG looks tempting. If I had a 60 size p51 I would consider it. The extreme cool factor might outway the oily mess factor? An fg17 with that exhaust would make for the ultimate scale p51.

@Jesse Open, @FlyInOKC, @Hobbsy...hurt feelings? I actually just spoke my part and moved on. I do not post in here a lot nor on RCU...Why bring it back up. It was not a big deal. I currently have three saito boxer twins...

I just expressed feelings that, Jesse Open, offered to sell me the engine. No one else actually was interested in a 60t in the first place. He asked me to PM him and I was at work and was busy and not able to respond in a timely fashion as Hobbsy did. I missed out and that was that.

If I was in Jesse Open shoes I would have told Hobbsy that, hey I have extended an offer out to a guy and waiting on a response from him. Hey Jesse Open might even have done that...could have even sent me a direct pm just to be on the safe side, but he did not. I have also been a seller in a situation like the above and had people hold on why I wait for the reply to my extended contact. On the flip side If I was in Hobbsy shoes I would not have jump on it like that. I have been in situations like the above and told the seller to reach out to me if the initial person does not come through. Hobbsy may have done that too but I do not know, that is why I did not make a big deal of it and if I did what will that solve...I just moved on.

We all go through life and handle situations as we please and do/do not see any right or wrong in what we do.

Example...I go to work every morning and a select few people walk into the office and do not speak to anyone but the boss and they see nothing wrong with that either... but when I try the same I somehow see myself in the bosses office explaining to him if there is something wrong ...

Guys I am fine. I will get another boxer twin, just the above was not meant for me. There are other 60t's out there. When someone speaks up about something does not mean they are butt hurt, they may just be calling you on it or just speaking up about it. If you have any issues with it just ping me, do not dance around assuming I am hurt / hard feelings / hurt feelings.

P.S. I am sure you all will still say I am in my feelings because of the long message above lol...just speaking my part.

I am still open to purchasing a 60t if anyone has one. I will also be flying my plane from the Atlanta up to the south Kentucky area. So I can pickup if anyone is within my route.

Even tho running high nitro content in our saito's comes with diminishing rpm increases per dollar as you up the nitro 10% each run, and shorter flight times for the same size fuel tank, it's a lot of fun and the saito singles really bark on it, nice lumpy lower rpm range they like to hiccup and cough a bit maybe throw a prop or two, but they are animals when they run like that. I get free nitro from the motorcycle drag racers i paint parts for so all good.

Reminds me of how many times i used to spend hours doing gardening/weeding round the house, how many times have you sprayed weeds and days later they still look healthy, in fact they may even be thriving to your feeble brain after all that hard work and sweat. Like most people this day and age i've come to like instant results and nitro gives me that, spray a tiny bit on the weeds and they drop like mike tysons opponents, smells alright too.

Life is too short for FAI fuel.

The house behind me was vacant for the better part of a year and Poison Ivy sprouted and took a hold in the backyard. It started coming thru the fence. I found a foolproof method for getting rid of this weed! You spray it with heavy duty Round Up and spread a bag of rock salt on the ground then add water. I will guarantee the weeds won't look healthy days later! You might not be able to get anything to grow in that area for a few years but you won't ever see those weeds again.

When it's cool and wet in the spring herbicides seem to have little affect. When it's hot and dry in mid summer they work great. RoundUp etc has to be absorbed through the foliage to work. I use "all year" Ortho Poison Ivy killer once a year, keeps it killed off.

Gary, can you give us a "heads up" before posting engines and kits to rcg?

So I received a tube in the mail for decals for the Pink' N Poke future home of Pinky Saito. The PP head shot and the PP footprint are the wrong color but I'm sure a reprint will fix that. The black and white squares are destine for the bottom of the wings. The Pink Panther heads will be on the top of the wing. The PP Footprint will be on each side of the fuselage like a roundlet along with the red lightening bolts and "Think Pink!". The "Pink' N Poke" will go on the vertical stabilizer and rudder.

Well, that will certainly be unique.

So, Boca has a 40% off sale. Went to add 2 sets of bearings for the 100 to the cart and SQL error. grumble.

Need a cart in order to do that, and the cart broke. I'll try later, I need bearings for 2 100's and a 72.
