Good looking Enya 80. The pile of parts does look like a second complete engine. You oughta give everything a good soak in antifreeze, clean it all up and reassemble. You might end up with a pair of 80's to sell

RE: Club Enya
Ladies and gents... boys and girls... I have news! I completed the deal on a second VT-240 yesterday. I traded a nice little Saito .90 radial for it. I'll try and post pictures tomorrow. Just got back from two days at the Perry (Georgia) Swap meet and am bushed. Overall, the meet as decent considering the economy. I hauled a bunch of stuff there and didn't have to bring too much of it back.

I agree. I have six Enyas and I just bought my last, a 1.55. It's also my last engine. I can fly anything from a 1/2A to the 1.55 and I have a tunnel hull boat coming with a K&B 3.5 outboard on it. If I had those Enya parts I for SURE would have one beautiful 80 with a parts engine or maybe two 80s. But I wouldn't sell or part with any of it.

Thanks for the reply .
I bought this to go in a Bretling I have. It would not fit with out cutting up the cowel so I did sell them both to an Enya lover.
OH but the way Itook the money and bought a golden knight 72. Dam Money burns holes in my pocket if I keep it there to long .

The twin carbs amount to a non event. You just peak each one to max.
Do the low speed the same way.
just like on a MGB

By the way, I like the way you stuck the radial in the background for effect. You have too many engines! (as if you could have too many)

Isn't the answer - just one more than you can afford? At least that's my situation.
Cheers,

Bill, here is an Enya you need to get, a .25 purpose built Diesel and its buddy, an Irvine .25 Diesel, in the picture it is turning a Graupner 12x5 at 8,760 rpm.

Bought a used Enya 46-4C from the bay, all seems in order accept the bearings [/surprise][/sarcasm] can some of our Enya experts please enlighten me as to how to remove a stubborn bearing from the timing gear box? Have tried the heating in the oven and slamming onto a block of wood trick, but to no avail []

You mean that teeny weeny little caged ball bearing for the cam drive shaft. The one that looks like it came out of a Rolex watch? Dunno. Let me know when you find out please.
Ken Enya, where are you when we need you?
