Default On-Board Glow?

OK, So I have a new YS .91-AC engine with verry little run time on it. At low throttle, it cuts out alot. My remidy is to place an onboard glow system to ensure it does not load up and stop. Is this really necessary?

Does the glow system serve any other useful purposes other than starting?

The system is an Expert On-Board Glow System.

You are too rich on the low end. Turn the low speed adjustment screw counter clockwise to lean it out. To me, an onboard glow is just a bandage for a poorly tuned low end. All my YS engines are mounted inverted, and none of them needs onboard glow system.

Yes, "counter-clockwise". YS four strokes have air bleed carb. You turn the low speed needle valve "counterclockwise" to open up the air bleed hole, allowing more air in and thus leaning out the air/fuel mixture. You turn the low speed needle valve "clockwise" to close the air bleed hole and thus richen the mixture. The direction of the low speed needle valve is opposite the high speed needle valve.
