I think Enya still sells some lefties

The Enya four stroke is reversible by swapping the cams

The Enya SS series two strokes are reversible by turning the front bearing housing 90 degrees to the right when standing behind the engine

Any of the old two strokes with a separate front bearing housings are reversible by rotating the front housing 90 degrees

Some Saitos are reversible by buying a certain cam intended for the rear cylinder of the inline twins

I had read this before but thank you for the confirmation. I also think you can have some fun with Enyas by playing with advanceing and retarding the cams. Increase/decrease valve overlap. Now, I just have to figure out how to save your post to my hard drive.

Regards,
Bill

re saving what someone posted. I just highlight whatever I want to save...hit CONTROL C to copy it ....then I open an email to myself...put the cursor in the message box and hit CONTROL V to paste the message. I give it a title that I can recognize and send it to myself.. That way.. I have dozens of R-C KEEP items in a folder on my email page.
regards, Rich

The 4500 has a rear intake

It could be timed by turning the back plate to the right 90 degrees but the piston will hit the back plate?

There shouldn't be any problem with the 2000, 2500, & 3000

I have a mecoa .46 2 stroke airplane engine on an airboat that runs backwards, I have no idea if it was ever supposed to or not but it does just fine. Has for months and months.
