Make sure that the ring gap is lined up with the pin in the ring groove. Then conpress the ring, and slide the sleeve over. It should be a tight fit, but if there is any binding or if its going really tough, stop and make sure everything is in its proper place and not damaged.
also, make sure to oil the inside of the sleeve to prevent scoring when its sliding over the ring.

The sleeve is chamferred at the bottom and if you apply gentle downward pressure while rotating the sleeve back and forth and making sure the ring is at the right place while the piston doesn`t tip, it should slide down.

PS. make sure to oil everything before you do it

Don't you dare let the ring gap come across a port or you will be sorry

Everything will be locked up forever and in that case you will have to throw the engine away

while you're doing that, note that the arrow stamped on the top of the piston points to the exhaust port...ken
