Default Axe 400 troubles

I hadnt touched the 400 in a while. So I decided to go back to it and give it some more use. But when i got to it I plugged it in and the swash was not right. So I thought WTH, maybe I reversed it or something. But that wasnt it. Its almost like the helicopter isnt mixing the controls the way it should. From the tail looking toward the front, If i do left or right aileron, only the right servo moves. And the left servo only moves if I do collective. Anyone know what i could have done?

After thinking about it, I remember we tried hooking this transmitter up to my other one to use it as a trainer box. So maybe I switched something that i shouldnt have?

I don't have my controller with me right now, so I can't remember exactly, but it definitely sounds like like you switched the swashplate type on the controller.  I don't remember if there are one or two settings for the swash (I wanna say two), but one of them determines how the servos are mixed according to the swash type (can't remember what the other one does...if there's another one).  Anyway, you can start looking there.  I wish I had my controller and manual handy, so I could have been more help.

I went back to it and tried changing the swah settings, Here are my results.

It was on I-5 to start with.

I-5
- Elevator seemed good
- Ailerons only moved one servo (right one)
- Pitch only moves one servo (left one)

3-5
- Elevator seems to work the pitch of the heli
- Ailerons seem good
- Pitch makes the front drop (forward flight) and the two side servos go up.

3-E
- Elevator seemed good
- Ailerons seemed good
- Pitch makes the front drop (forward flight) and the two side servos go up.

All of these are the controls on the transmitter, SO when i say "Ailerons seem good" I am putting the aileron input in the transmitter.

Im not positive the servos are in the correct direction. I changed them so they seemed correct. I have heli experience...but not this type of swash plate. I have a raptor 30 v2. Thanks for all the help and I hope I made it as easy as it can be for anyone to help. If more info is needed, let me know! THANKS!

K.  I'm back home and have my controller now.  These are my settings:

3-5 (or "S"...don't know why I always thought that was an "S"...)
A + 60
E -58
P +50

I'm a little confused as to why your "pitch" input makes the swash behave that way.  All servos should be going up.  Sounds like a servo reversal problem to me.  Make sure that your "A, E, and P" values match mine (at least in polarity if not in magnitude as well), then make sure that your channels are configured as follows:

1 (reversed)
2 (normal)
3 (reversed)
4 (normal)
5 (normal)
6 (normal)

If I'm right, this should fix it.  Hope I helped :-)

I matched everything you posted. Still have the same results.

Just going through the settings... revo and gyro are both INH. Not sure if there supposed to be. Also SW-T...whatever that is is also INH.

VERY much appreciated!

No problem, glad I could help   Oh and, yes revo should be on INH (if you have a heading hold gyro), but gyro should be on a certain percentage, because that's your gyro gain channel settings.  I have mine at +56 on heading hold.  That varies by gyro though.  I forget what SW-T stands for exactly, but I think it might have something to do with your servo throw for the swash servos.  I have mine at : ON, A: 20%, E: 20%  I'm pretty sure, those are stock settings; I don't recall messing with that.  Anyway, I'm glad I was able to help.  Glad you like my videos ; I haven't posted in a while though...
