OK Guys;
I have been reading my manual (I dangerous thing to do!) on the features of the Hitec Eclipse 7.
I am attempting to have a single switch activate the flaperons. So far I have found the “Land” function that drops the flaperons and adjusts the elevator (channel 6) and I have found the flap operation from the VR1 knob (I hate the idea of twisting a knob during landing).
However; what I was looking for was a single function switch that would just drop the flaperons . . . Am I going to have to use the ‘LAND’ function with the elevator change set to zero? Or is there something that I have missed?

I don't recall if Flaps can be had with a toggle switch, maybe a free mix can be assigned to this function. I'll have to check the manual. In any event the LANDING function is fine to deploy flaps; typically some elevator is used to compensate for pitch when flaps are dropped. But you can zero the elevator function without worry if you prefer.
