The savage will be around FOREVER...as long as HPI and Hobby shops are in Bizzness...parts will be avaliable...the truck might be 3 years old but can easily be refurbished with new parts, gears and a Miticulous clean job....buy it from her if the price is right.

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!
I'm new to this hobby, got a 3.3 Revo, Warhead and this Savage. It was my first paint job on a blank body. I know its mostly stock and wow some of you have some very nice trucks. But the beauty in this one is the shape it was in when I inherited it. Awful, miss treated and mucked up with blown motor, all shocks blown out oil and dirt everywhere, brakes shot. So I took a lot of time and cleaned it up, put a XTM 457 pro truck motor in it, rebuilt all shocks and installed new springs and with a 5 cell hump pack and the new dual disc brake system and here it is. After breakin I had to put a wheelie bar on it, [not shown] pretty cool seeing a 69 Charger ripping off a wheelie. Anyway there is my story.

Very nice! Seriously love the carbon. Nice mid-tank mod too!
By the way, how did you decorate your 3PK shell like that? is that an aftermarket 3PK shell?
