Talk about one extreme to the other. Those have got to be the biggest and smallest wheels I've ever seen on a savage.

Saosin57; I`m only 14 to, and I think that the color combo od black and yellow really pop. Love the job on that body of yours, but I kept it simple on mine because I think that a more complex job would have looked cheesy on the B-17 body. = - }

Took me about 4 hours. Most of it spent on transfering the paint mask and then removing it for the finish paint.

Your going to want something stronger for your savage. The Hitec 5645MG works great, but if you want to really go balls out, get the Hitec 5995TG, 333oz of torque!

yep, that hitec one, or, there's a hobbico version of it, or, if that's not enough, there's two high end JR servos that'll beat that....(think one was 380 oz/in and the other 400+)

Ace DS1015 BY far Hands down the best servo on the market....Makes the JR lineup look slow and the hitech 333oz like its standing still...ACE ALL the way.

(INTEGRA) Are the Ace servos ds1015 and ds1313 the same as the Team Associated servos
They look the same and have the same specs.

Ace servos--- http://www.acehobby.com/ace/digital_srv.htm

Team Associated--- http://www.teamassociated.com/shusti...9166_servo.htm

I was thinking of getting the associated servos.I found a good price for the associated servos and want to know if they are any good.
If you or anybody has info on them I would appreciate it ,,, thanks

Just my stock Savage, but it's mine, lol. This is my first real RC vehicle, been flying planes for a few years. Put an extension on the exhaust, added the engine gaurd, left body stock height and trimmed it. Tubing is 1/2" ID 5/8" OD vinyl clear, works pretty good.

I used to use that tubing too, but it flies off easily. Last time I secured it with 2 zip ties and it still flew off Its cause the vinyl pipe expands and becomes a bit flimsy from the heat, I need to think of something better to hold it on the stinger

Edit: I just looked at your pic more closely and see you have the plastic pipe (duh lol), it will hold on better than on a metal pipe since the stinger has a bigger bore, but will fly off after you take it off a few jumps, other than that I like the vinyl stuff[8D]

Yeah it sticks pretty good to the plastic pipe. I heated up the tubing before putting it on and zip tying it, then let it cool. It's stayed on so far, we'll see.
