they are all 6 port engines.....the Spec 3 is a 6 port, the Spec 2 is a 6 port, the BigRed is a 6 port......
I have been running a LRP 30 for a bit.... IMO learn to tune better and buy a Picco 28...LRP 30 is kinda lame when its stock, we really notice its lack of RPM

Then what's the difference exactly between a Spec 2 and a Spec 3??
Timing, exhaust port shape, 2 extra bypass ports under piston............ very similar engines, but the Spec 3 is tweaked to run a little harder....

Anybody running the Big Red at all? Keen to hear about it.. Just ordered one.. Judging by the stats it looks like an LRP Spec 2 twin, or not??

Yeah.. I have a heavy basher, and a lighter racer.. Ultimately I think it'll go in the racer, cuz I want an LRP 30 for the basher... Depends though.. Right now the racer has a new teal Mach, and the basher an LRP Spec 3 that's still running great..

I'm also curious to see if anyone has the Big Red in a Savage. Can't open the box till Christmas but in the meantime I'm looking for stuff to throw at and that Big Red is really nice. Already set on getting one just want to see if anyone has it in a Savvy.
