I want to buy a DPM Extra 330L and a gas powered engine. I'm going to use my plane for 3D. I need to know what engine would be good to hover and beable to have enough power to get me out when i'm in trouble, but not to much power where I would break something. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
Thanks Jace

I have seen this plane destroy aileron servos while doing a loop.
If you put this engine in this plane, I would recommend 2 servos per aileron.

DPM Extra 330L and the DA 50 is a great combo. I have over 22 gals of fuel thru this combo.

An OS 1.60 with a 10 pitch prop will cause more problems than a DA50 turning an 8 pitch prop.
It's about the airspeed; not the horsepower.

I had a brison 3.2 on mine, and loved it. Plenty of power! If you set up your aileron with good harware, free of slop, and use good metal geared servos, you will not have a problem, as long as you know what throttle managment is. To much speed will kill most airplanes. The bigger the airplane is the slower in the air it looks. A small 40 size airplane looks fast until you put up a slow looking 33% plane. If you try to fly the same oval the bigger you will see it is just as fast, or maybe faster. The DP extra is a good airplane, but be careful to get a good mechanical setup. Big airplane are less tolerant of inferior control setups imo.
