I attempted to start my (old) P-80 but would not spool up. I then noticed the temp-reading to be 1070 degrees C!! The probe sits under the plastic-shield with 3 pins witch fits very loose, tried to tighten this some, but same result. The >GSU reads E`and the high temp-value so the probe need to be replaced I guess. Can this really happen out of the blue?
Also the yellow diode on the board blinks continuosly. What does this mean?

this happened to me before in may P80, closely check the temp probe board and find the two small probe wires soldering spots on the board, they may be disconnected due to improper engine handling while installation/storing or transporting, then carefully solder them again if required. don't forget to re-calibrate the temp prob from the GSU

I checked as advised. At least one of the connectors from the probe seems to have broken. The hair-thin filaments appears difficult to solder, but I will give it a try in the morning. Thank you for the tip! :-)

, but you have to make sure you do the soldering properly or the engine may stop in the flight and cause the engine to stop with the overheat -E- error, if you are not feeling confident that you can fix it then replace it to be in safe side

Got a new probe and the turbine now starts and runs, but on throttling up it spits flames, rumbles a lot of noise & the tail-cone gets glowing hot. Looks like the pump is giving too much too quick.... I don`t know wich parametre to adjust or how as I`m not too familiar with JetCat ECU. Help Please???
